Welcome to a small charming hotel with the nordic ECO-label, the Swan,
which shows that the hotel has a carefully considered long-term environmental programme,
involving all the staff and covering the entire business.The hotel´s environmental programme
is carried out by reducing and effectivising the use of resources, and by replacing products
with a large environmental impact with more environmentally compatible alternatives.
Energy is used efficiently, the amount of waste is reduced by composting and means of pre-
sorting etc. Use of water is under control, energy-saving lamps have been installed and many
more things have happened - most important has been to install an efficiant lake-water-
heating pump system now keeping our three buildings nice and warm!

In 1989, consumers got the opportunity to choose environmentally suitable products with high
quality, helped by the official eco-label, the Nordic Swan. Today, travellers have also got the
opportunity to stay at an eco-labelled hotel in these countries, as since 1999 hotels have been
awarded the eco-label. The Nordic Swan shows that the hotel has got a carefully considered
long-term environmental programme, covering the entire business with limit values, for example,
for water, chemical and energy consumption.
